It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another ROW80 Update. I don't know how much I actually wrote these last couple of days, but I did manage to write a whooping 1k this morning before I headed off to work (that's what happens when you take a 10 min nap at 7pm and wake up at 3am!)
I also wrote a fun holiday post that I will have up sometime on Friday, as part of the 12 Days of Christmas Reading Giveaway, hosted by fellow ROW80's, J.R. Pearse Nelson and Nadja Notariani!
Also, I am proud to be a part of (which accounts for my awesomeness word count the morning) National Novelist Slack-A$$ Month (#NaNoSlackMo), the brainchild of another fab ROW80'er, Jenny Hansen. This challenge is for those that didn't win NaNoWriMo (although y'all are winners in our hearts) or didn't participate to begin with (like moi). So let's see if I can do 25k this month!
Until Sunday, have a great ROW80 week!
Great job on the 1K. Excellent word count to start the day. I'll be joining #NaNoSlackMo as much as I can.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
@Stacy - Thanks. I had to make up for last night after falling asleep so early!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of NaNoSlackMo! Sounds great and glad it inspired your 1k this morning!
ReplyDeleteWould be great it you joined me in the book challenge! Am already thinking '100? really?!' I am sure it will all be fine! :)
NaNoSlackMo...Ha! I thought that was a joke at Jenny's blog. Not so, I see. Write like the wind, Claudia....Ha. Really, best of luck with writing 25K in a month. You can do it.
ReplyDeleteYour info is ready to go for 12 Days, and your post link, book and info will be on my blog page on 22 December, 2011. (and of course, it will remain on the actual 12 Days page for the entire promotion) Thanks so much! And also, congrats on your impressive sales numbers for Parallel! Fantastic.
@Nadja - Ha! well if it IS a joke, I'll be laughing all the way to the "click to publish" button much faster:)
ReplyDeleteThanks..I will be post my story tomorrow and send you the link and other info.
