Updates! Or lack thereof...

I've been very bad and missed my first week of ROW80. Time really did escape me this past week, but I'm back on schedule this week, well, somewhat...

I don't have much to report on my writing progress, but I have set aside some time this week in order to get back on track (writing everyday). So, while I haven't been writing, I have been working on ideas in my head. Some of those are earmarked for Paradigm (book 3) and another idea I have is for a new series (or maybe a standalone). I'm going back to the classics on this new one that's rattling around in my head. I'll have more to report on this project, once I figure out if it will be adult or young adult.

About the only thing I've done this past week is beta read for my fabulous author friend, Kate Copeseeley. And even then I've flaked due to time, but I am almost done reading her draft. (Kate, please forgive me!!)

In the meantime, please check out Martha Bourke's blog tour going on right now! She has an amazing line up of guest posts, giveaways, and even some great podcasts! Also, if you haven't picked up the first in her series, Jaguar Sun (which I can't promote enough), you have a chance to pick up a free copy April 15 & 16 on Amazon!!

  1. While writing every day is a great goal, sometimes you need to step back and do some thinking about it. It does the writing good. :)

  2. Wow, things have changed around here. Looks good! Just remember, writing isn't always about doing actual writing. Brainstorming totally counts. Good luck this week :) I know you can rock it out.

    1. You're always the voice of reason Ryan! Brainstorming I did...the only problem is, now I think I have more work cut out for me in the future...this is why I like to write everyday so I don't get behind :)

  3. I have to agree with Ryan; brainstorming for writing counts as long as you plan on actually writing at some point.

I just have to say - I absolutely love the covers you have for Parallel and Paradox. They are so refreshing!

Good luck with writing every day for the rest of this week! You can do it!

    1. I've been so out of the loop, I'm surprised I even got the title of book 3 correct in my post! Well, all the changes in Paradox were mostly due to you! And the free days for Jaguar Sun are Mon/Tues. Okay, must go now so I can get back to Aeris!

  9. Taking some time off for creative thoughts and planning is a good thing. ROW80 is great because you can hop right back in and hit the goals. Here's to a great next week!
