Can You Read This?

My dad emailed me this today. I think it's pretty neat, so I'm posting it.

Only great minds can read this...This is weird, but interesting! This will put your dyslexia into a catatonic fit!

Isn't it interesing that only boys have their hands up?

Morse Code is this way too. The great code operators didn't separate the letters but actually heard the words or, in some cases entire sentences.

Yes, I could actually read it without difficulty. When I was growing up, my parent's realized I was dyslexic. Still am. My mother was always amazed at how quickly I could go through books. My dad often theorized that I memorized words...to me, 'birkc' is still 'brick'.

Are you a great mind? Leave a comment and let me know if YOU could read it!

RWO08 (yes, I'm messing with you) Update:

Since Sunday, I've spent the last few days writing and doing research for Book 2 of Parallel. So for those of you that have already read Book 1, be prepared to meet more folks with psionic abilities, another reality, and a relationship in the making!

I am also working on a short story to submit to an anthology that's being released late Oct. I'm not sure if it will be accepted, but I was encouraged to submit. It will be another horror short.

  1. I can read it! It really is amazing how complex and generally awe inspiring the human mind really is. I just watched Limitless the other day, and found myself yearning for his special pill so I could use my whole brain, and finally finish the Beast!

  2. @amber I know, right? Need to watch Limitless, I hadn't heard any yays or nays, but it's on my list of movies to watch.

  3. I could read it. I was nearly forty when I began noticing symptoms of dyslexia. Not severe, but I have to pay attention when I'm repeating or writing down numbers, and my formerly "perfect" spelling is becoming quite creative. And words flip around on the page. Strange sensation upon hitting middle age.

  4. I could read it, I always think those things are amazing!

On the ROW80 front glad things are going well and thank you for your comment on my check-in. Have a great week!

  5. @towrite I think mine is getting better with age! Either that, or I've pretty much gotten used to it. I still have trouble typing sometimes, but I'm more conscious about it.

@Em I thought it was pretty cool. Of course! I like seeing your updates :)

  6. Claudia ~ Interesting post. I, too, cold read it. Although the article I read on the subject claimed that most everyone would be able to - as that is how the human brain functions when reading. I wonder now, which was true?
Anyway, I'm sorry to hear that you are dyslexic. I was tested as a child, because I wrote backward - like mirror writing - which, of course, made my parents nervous. In the end, I guess it was a left handed thing...lol. I grew out of it. But it must be a strong genetic trait! My 'righty' husband and I have 5 children, 3 of which are left handed. They all wrote backward as little kids, too.
Haven't stopped by in awhile, but noticed you are signed up for the Campaign, too! Maybe I'll see you around during that~ Nadja

  7. @Nadja I think you are right, that most people can read it. I read that somewhere too. My mom is a lefty...I'm a righty, but I'm left eye dominant. What campaign??
