Sunday Update

It's check-in time! I finally put The Fury to bed and it's now available on Amazon and B&N. Yea! Got my author website up and running. Now that those two items are done, I can now focus all my attention on Heir.

Most of Heir is completed, but because I decided to change the central idea, I have some major rewriting ahead of me. I got a lot of done Saturday and I will spend most of my morning working on it before I go to the movies later this afternoon (going to see Scream 4!!). If I keep this pace up, I should be able to finish it by mid-summer.

I'd say it was a pretty good week for ROW80.

  4. Congrats on getting your book up. Looking to do that myself in another week or so!

Revamping(haha) a book can be good, as long as it's not too far into the editing process. I love major rewrites right after the first draft, they feel so good! But I hate getting to the end of my edits and still feeling like something is not right, so I hope that's not what happened to you!

  5. Thanks guys!

And Kate, I was still on the first draft, so I'm not dead in the water yet! Fortunately, I kept the same story line, but changed the type of "world" my MC discovers.

Can't wait to check out your book!

  7. Congratulations on "The Fury," and may you be successful with "Heir" as well! (Don't let sales rankings distract you from your WIP, I've heard other published authors say.)

Speaking of which- your author website looks great! :) Clean and bold.

  8. Shari - if you need the links, let me know!

CM Stewart - of all the "advice" I've recieved I think I'm going to go with this one..."as soon as you publish one, the best way to promote it is by writing another one!"

  12. Thanks Sean! To be honest, I haven't uploaded it on Smashwords yet (afraid of the meatgrinder!). Since it's such a short novella, I think Amazon and B&N will do for now. When I publish my full length book, I'll definitely brave it!
